Amazon addict speaking.

You know how people can be about Target? Well, I am the same way with Amazon. I do about 80-90% of my shopping through Amazon.com for a few reasons: great prices, free 2-day shipping courtesy of Amazon Prime, and on occasion, zero sales tax.

As a Prime member, you can also enjoy the benefit of free shipping along with your discount. Free shipping and discounts became a deadly combination to my wallet because I’d wind up buying so many things and get several packages from Amazon in one day. If you don’t have a Prime membership, you can actually get a free one-month trial by clicking this link!

However, money isn’t infinite, so I have to keep my incidental spending to a minimum. But sometimes I find some really great Amazon deals on Elite Deal Club, so I can occasionally make some unnecessary purchases without breaking the budget!

Elite Deal Club is a free club where you can get deep discounts on Amazon products. The previous policy required customers to leave Amazon reviews in exchange for the discount, but since Amazon has newly updated their review policy, this is no longer required. Now, you just need to claim your coupon code with EDC and make your purchase!

Why so cheap?

Many companies look to clubs like Elite Deal Club in order to reach out to customers and get their product out to the public. Customers score great deals, sometimes even free, and in exchange, leave a product review. The company’s product gets more publicity due to the customer reviews. Everybody wins!

So if the prices are cheap, the products are too, right?

Most definitely not! Every single product I’ve gotten through EDC has been quality. It sounds like it’s too good to be true, but these are real products made by real companies looking to sell their product and score higher in the Amazon ranks.

The top 5 deals I’ve gotten on Elite Deal Club

  • 30ml Bottle of Helichrysum Essential Oil ($1, retail price $12.95)
  • 30ml Bottle of Frankincense Essential Oil ($1, retail price $12.50)
  • Blackhead and Pimple Extraction Tool Kit ($1, retail price $9.97)
  • USB Laptop Cooling Fan ($1.99, retail price $16.99)
  • Salicylic Acid 20% Gel Peel ($3, retail price $34.95)

With Elite Deal Club, you’ll see a little bit of everything, from supplements to clothes. In the past I have even seen RC Quadcopters retailing for $200 on Amazon on EDC. You just never know what you might find!

My method to scoring the best deals

Early in the morning, Elite Deal Club sends you an email with the deals of the day along with the time it goes live. Some deals hit the site in the morning, and others in the afternoon and evening. Be sure to check the time of the deal as well as the timezone. I’ve missed out on some great products because of logging in too late!

When you see something you’re interested in getting on that email, note down the time. When the clock hits, log into the site, find that product, and claim your coupon code before it sells out! I’ve been late as little as 5 minutes and a product has already sold out.

It’s very crucial to log in the last few seconds before the clock hits. There are a lot of members who are interested in the same products as you, and EDC has a limit of how many discount codes are given per day per product. So, you may luck out, but they may still have it in their catalog tomorrow.

Don’t neglect free shipping

Without Amazon Prime, purchasing singular items will force you to pay for shipping unless your cart hits a minimum of $49. If you intend on maximizing Elite Deal Club to the fullest potential, make sure you have Amazon Prime! If not, you can get it for free for 30 days through this link.

Amazon Deals vs. Elite Deals

EDC has two different categories: the regular Amazon Deals, and the Elite Deals. The Elite Deals tend to be products at higher price points, so therefore, don’t expect to pay a few bucks for it. To get an Elite Deal, you must pay a small fee to EDC in order to get the coupon code.

Now, that sounds a bit involved, but Elite Deals are completely optional. If you’re just as frugal as me, you’ll have no problem sticking to just the Amazon Deals – there’s still some great stuff on there!

Get Gifts

With Elite Deal Club, you have the chance to win Amazon Gift Cards if you refer friends to join. The highest-referring member will receive a $25 Amazon Gift Card, and the following 3 runner-ups get $10 Amazon Gift Cards. The next 16 members will get $5 Amazon Gift Cards. The gift card giveaways are every week, so you always have a chance to win!

If you haven’t already, you can join Elite Deal Club using my invitation link.
